An outdoors enthusiast, Nick enjoys exploring Montana and the American West. Since early childhood, he has spent his summers camping on the family property near Ovando, MT, which is under easement with the Montana Land Reliance. Nick is fortunate to have made connections with the places and people who make Montana special and is committed to preserving its open spaces for future generations.

Nick is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Franklin Templeton Investments in San Mateo, California. He has over ten years of experience in the investment management industry. Nick manages mutual funds and investment portfolios for institutional and individual clients, specializing in fixed income. He has invested in state and local governments and not-for-profit organizations, helping these entities finance a range of public infrastructure projects and mission-driven initiatives.

Raised in San Francisco, Nick lives in Marin County, California, with his wife Marcela and two children, Sophia and Lucas. He earned an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a BA degree in History from Boston College, and is a CFA Charterholder. In his free time, Nick enjoys fishing, skiing, hiking, bird hunting, and surfing.
