LOT 3: CATCH THE HATCH ON O’DELL SPRING CREEK: A magical day on exclusive O’Dell Creek in the Madison Valley with MLR’s own Rock Ringling. This beautiful, clear flowing spring creek tributary to the Madison River is a challenging and technical fishery. Meandering through meadows, the stream is a series of riffles and pools. Large brown trout sit tight to the banks. The scenery surrounding O’Dell Spring Creek is nothing short of spectacular with the Madison Mountains towering to the east and the Gravelly Mountains on the west. Lot 6: MICHAEL REYNOLDS, CELLIST OF THE MUIR STRING QUARTET performs a private cello concert in your home, featuring selections from the great Bach Suites for solo cello. He is founding and current cellist of the world-renowned Muir String Quartet, which began its career in 1979. As a member of the Muir Quartet and as soloist and chamber musician, Mr. Reynolds has performed well over 2,000 concerts throughout North America, Europe, and the Far East, and is a recent recipient of the Blue and Gold Award from Montana State University. In his spare time he is an avid fly fisherman and outdoorsman.

PMD Ranch offers an exclusive day of fishing in 2018 for up to four anglers on one of the fabled Paradise Valley Spring Creeks south of Livingston. PMD Ranch waters on Nelson Spring Creek are not accessible to the general public, are extensive and lightly fished. Kendall Van Dyk of MLR will accompany the lucky winner. A conservation easement with the Montana Land Reliance protects the waterfowl and wildlife habitat surrounding the stream, so encounters with trumpeter swans, bald and golden eagles, mink, muskrat, otter, Sandhill cranes, and an occasional moose and black bear are not uncommon, depending on the time of year. In addition, excellent fishing on the Yellowstone River is a stone’s throw away, all under the stunning backdrop of the Absaroka Mountains. The winning bidder also receives an original watercolor entitled “Spring Meadow Trout” by Helena artist Nancy Breuninger. LOT 10: RUSSELL CHATHAM LITHOGRAPH: FROM MONTANA SUITE- “BOULDER VALLEY FALL”: Original This artwork titled, “Boulder Valley Fall,” is a limited-edition original lithograph by artist Russell Chatham from the collection Montana Suite, a collection of four lithographs. Signed and dated 1991, this print is number 212 of the 275 original art prints and is beautifully framed in a pickled white finish, matted and protected under non-glare plexiglass. A painter, lithographer, and writer of the American West, who spent most of his career in Livingston, Russell Chatham has had several hundred exhibitions of his paintings and prints and is “considered one of the world’s foremost lithographers.” His work has been collected the world over. He has written numerous essays and short stories on hunting, fishing, and conservation, as well as on food and wine. Sports Illustrated, Esquire, The Atlantic and Outdoor Life have published his work.
